| Aniston's publicist slams nose job story
Jennifer Aniston's publicist has slammed new reports his client has had plastic surgery on her nose, after the actress was spotted leaving the offices of a top cosmetic clinic. Stephen Huvane tells Wenn that various publications, which are set to run with speculation the former Friends star has had a new nose-job, are spouting "nonsense". The Hollywood publicist insists writers are making too much of Aniston's visit to the Beverly Hills office of plastic surgeon Dr Raj Kanodia on Saturday (20Jan07). Life & Style reports in its upcoming issue that Aniston spent over four hours at the surgery, and covered her nose with her hands when she realised photographers were snapping her when she came out. A source tells the magazine, "I was told she had a full rhinoplasty." But an angry Huvane says, "For the most part, this story is complete rubbish.
Ron Young Surgery Part Three
While the fairer sex is still the most likely to get plastic surgery, the more masculine one is slowly catching up. Our very own Ron Young is one of the men helping that trend. Here's part three of a special report on Ron taking on father time. After three hours of surgery, Doctor Kenneth Sanders has finished Ron's eye lid surgery and mid face lift. And through micro liposuction, he's also taken fat from Ron's stomach and injected it as a filler in his face. "It's better because it's natural and it's permanent. You may need another one or another couple of sessions but in the end it's permanent," Dr. Sanders says. Just twenty minutes later Ron is awake, and already acting like his old self. Ron, "She's scary." Nordia, "No I'm not Ron Young." He gets a first look at his new face. "The lines are gone.
Timeline will replace courtroom replica in Court House Museum's ...
When Lynchburg's Court House Museum reopens in August or September after a nearly $2 million facelift, gone will be its re-creation of an 1855 courtroom. In its place will be a timeline of Lynchburg's history around the outer wall of the 1,500-square-foot room immediately through the front entrance. That's one of the more dramatic design changes for the refurbished Old City Court House, where work now is centered on planning the museum's exhibit space. The design plan leaves the room's center open for use in ceremonies, such as swearing in public officials. The timeline will serve as an introduction to a variety of exhibits throughout the museum. One exhibit, for example, broadly covers aspects of everyday life in the Hill City. It's tentatively dubbed "Lynchburg Life," said Doug Harvey, the city's museum system director.
Treatment closer to home
About three years ago, Daniel Wiley was driving his wife, Cindy, to Rockville, Md., on weekdays for hyperbaric oxygen therapy to treat a recurring back wound. The Cascade couple made the trip, which took at least 75 minutes, because that's where the closest hyperbaric oxygen chamber was at the time. When Cindy Wiley needed the treatment again in December, she was able to reduce the drive - and discomfort that comes with it - by going to Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown. The hospital opened a wound center, which includes two hyperbaric oxygen chambers, in October. The 100 percent, pressurized oxygen provided in the chambers promotes healing by forming new blood vessels and increasing blood flow to injured tissue, doctors said.
Nose job was to correct medical problem, says Jennifer Aniston
Actress Jennifer Aniston has both confirmed and thwarted rumors about her nose job at the same time. The 38-year-old actress, in an interview to a leading celebrity magazine, admitted she underwent surgery for her nose but said it was for a medical reason and not a cosmetic one. It's funny. I had (a deviated septum) fixed best thing I ever did. I slept like a baby for the first time in years, she said in the interview. Aniston also laughed at rumors of a breast augmentation surgery. As far as all the other (rumors), as boring as it sounds, it's still mine. All of it. Still mine. Short of letting everybody have a feel, I don't know what else to do. I really am pretty happy with what God gave me, she added. Rumors of Aniston's cosmetic surgeries began after she was spotted in Los Angeles stepping out of a cosmetic surgeon's office in January.
