| Man boobs go under the knife
Men are turning to cosmetic surgery to tackle the embarrassment of "man breasts" or "moobs", fuelling a near doubling in the number of people sculpting their bodies through liposuction. Thats according to a story in the Sunday Times, which also publishes figures showing that 4,000 operations for liposuction were carried out last year, compared with 2,100 in 2005. Overall, leading plastic surgeons carried out 31% more cosmetic surgery operations last year than in 2005. Demand also increased for brow lifts, which saw a 50% rise, eyelid surgery, up 48%, tummy tucks, up 47% and face and neck lifts, up 44%. The rise in gynaecomastia, or "man boobs" may be caused by an excess of female hormones in tap water. Visit Cosmetic Surgery Answers every day for the latest news, reviews and advice No comments yet.
Gwen Stefani Is Open To Plastic Surgery
Los Angeles, CA (BANG) - Over the past decade, it seems like Gwen Stefani hasn't aged a bit but she's still keeping her options open for the future, just in case. Gwen Stefani has revealed in a magazine interview she would consider plastic surgery down the line. Although she finds the modern obsession with cosmetic surgery "bizarre," the "Wind It Up" singer has thought about getting some work done when she gets older. The 37-year-old told Elle magazine, "Each to their own. I enjoy a great surgery TV show as much as anyone - I watched a lot of those shows while I was pregnant! But it's pretty bizarre that this is the stage where we're at - that you can place an order for how you're going to look. People take it pretty lightly, but it's a big deal. I've thought it over but I'm not at that stage yet." The pop star - who gave birth to son Kingston last May - has also confessed she found it incredibly tough touring and working while she was pregnant.

Dr. Jonathan Sykes said that wasn't true and sued for defamtion. The 3rd District Court of Appeals took the case saying that in our youth and celebrity worshipping culture the benefits and risks of plastic surgery are a hot topic. At issue: whether Sykes was a public figure. His face has been all over Sacramento TV, medical journals and even beauty magazines.
Kelly Osbourne Thinks Mother Has Gone Too War With Plastic Surgery
Kelly Osbourne thinks her mother Sharon has taken her plastic surgery too far. Sharon has had several cosmetic procedures - including a face lift, tummy tuck, neck lift and a boob job - and has regular Botox injections, but her daughter thinks it makes her look odd sometimes. Kelly told The Times newspaper: "Sometimes mum has gone too far with the Restylane and Botox and ended up looking extremely surprised. The first time she had plastic surgery she didn't know how to explain it to us kids - we've got big mouths and she didn't want us to go around saying, 'Mummy's had a facelift', so she told us she was in an accident. That freaked us out so she had to explain." It seems Kelly has had a change of heart about mum Sharon's surgery. Last week, she insisted she was so impressed with her mother's boob job she couldn't wait to go under the knife herself.
